Well if you hit this site periodically you will notice a new graphic to the right of this post. We are very excited about our new e-learning section of this website. We are a couple months out from launch but the site is under serious construction as we get ready for our initial offering.
We have been trying to figure out the best way to broker the work I do that is shared with the churches I work with monthly, the conference speaking and writing I do. There is a small body of growing work that we want to make more widely available and this seems like the perfect avenue to make it happen.

III:TEXT is an online learning community that comes together from all over the world for exposure to and engagement of the three texts we are always exploring: the biblical text, the human text, and context. Ron brokers resources that may not be on your radar…the emerging edge of the three texts.
the III:TEXTs
I. BIBLICAL TEXT — Understand the elegant sweep of the story it tells. Engage the broader brush strokes of the biblical narrative so together we become better equipped to invite others to allow God’s story to shape and intersect theirs.
II. CONTEXT — Become semioticians; readers of the signs of the times. Grapple with the questions that are a part of the cultural container in which we have been invited to bring the news flash of the message of Jesus.
III. HUMAN TEXT — Delve into the human text of personal and collective narration. What is your story? What is our story? What are people telling themselves these days?. What are personal development issues, heart passions, spiritual practices? What issues, hurts and pains do we face and what does that mean to how we translate the message of the news flash Jesus came to announce?
Details: Your syllabus will include a reading list of texts. It will be your responsibility to secure the texts prior to the start of the module. Participants will need to read resources according to the schedule provided. These texts include some of the most recent publications as well as very obscure publications. The syllabus will include a password to enable you to enter a secure chat zone at the shapevine campus for online dialogue.
